About Lincoln Highway Vet Clinic
Dr. Bill Lewis graduated from the University of Illinois school of Veterinary Medicine in 1990 and moved to Lancaster in 1991.
He worked at Willow Street Animal Hospital for seven years, Smoketown Vet Clinic for six years, a year at both the York Emergency Clinic and Dr. Charles London's Vet Clinic in York. He purchased Lincoln Highway Vet Clinic in 2008.
Dr. Lewis has a special interest in soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries and has taken several advanced courses in these specialties. He also enjoys seeing exotic pets and is a member of the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians; we see many pocket pets from PetSmart and other pet stores. Dr. Lewis also has had an interest in reptiles since he owned a red-tailed boa and worked for several years at the North Museum of Nature and Science. We see turtles, snakes, and lizards at the clinic and we have many reptile breeders as clients.

Dr. Lewis and his wife Angela enjoy sneaking away with their Greyhounds to go hiking and camping whenever they can.

He and Angela support several Greyhound rescue organizations with time, money, and lots of love. They also support local animal rescues in our community.
